Curl Regina is pleased to offer an instructional curling program for all Grade 6 Public School students. The main purpose of this program is to introduce the students to the game of curling. Students are taught the basic skills of delivery and sweeping, as well as the rules and etiquette of the sport.
The program runs from October until March. Each classroom receives 2 two-hour lessons on the ice. The program costs $8.00/student. Curl Regina funds the additional cost of busing, instructors and equipment. Teachers must register their class. Registration forms are sent out to teachers mid-September.
As well, all classrooms that have participated in the Grade Six Curling Program can participate in the Grade Six Bonspiel which will be held in March.
Have your school contact us to ensure they include this great program for your kids.
